Amazing how within it all, the gifts appear as though fallen from the sky… Cards, a clean house, a body pillow, a nutritious meal, foot rubs, a fixed generator, a box of organized financial paperwork, a book on smoothies, perfect weather, real and virtual flowers, hugs, cared for farm animals, by-request popsicles, an iPad, a possible home for the winter, surreal sunsets, a mowed path for me to take daily walks easily, 45 pounds of shiitake… I could go on.

The days go slowly, but mostly with ease. Our central focus now is on nutrition and trying to be the healthiest I have ever been in my life as we prepare for chemo in August. We fill time between doctor visits with easy. Resting between each task will get easier. And my strength will only grow.
